At Austin Skye Wellness, we use modern chiropractic care combined with acupuncturists and massage therapists to improve function, reduce pain and restore optimum health.  We are providers with many insurance plans.  Your initial visit includes a consultation with the doctor and a physical exam including x-rays (if appropriate.) Then we will typically provide some treatment on the first day and reschedule future visits as necessary.

Acupuncturist
Our licensed acupuncturist practices acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture can treat digestive disorders and allergies, as well as provide support for weight loss and smoking cessation. This is a treatment program, which can include some degree of combination of treatment and herbs to relieve present complaint.   For muscle and pain-type conditions, the acupuncturist will provide dry-needle myofascial release to reduce muscle bulking and trigger points.

Massage Therapists

Our registered massage therapists provide therapeutic procedures designed to increase ranges of motion and flexibility and to restore normal muscle function for contracted muscles.. This is not a spa massage, but functional and deep tissue for injury related or athletic and functional correction .  Chair and full body massages are available but are not typically part of our active treatment plans.
